Having a safe place to process thoughts and feelings is important. Whether you have experienced trauma, have been feeling depressed or anxious, are struggling with a relationship, making life transitions, or are seeking to gain self-awareness, I would be honored to work with you to create that space of healing and growth.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary. I believe that empathy and compassion are essential in the therapeutic relationship and have found that progress is best achieved when integrating both the heart and the mind. I enjoy couples counseling, working to bridge differences and strengthen relationships; I am certified in Prepare and Enrich premarital/relationship assessment. Additionally, I have experience working with families and individuals of all ages in areas of self-esteem, codependent relationships, boundaries, communication, anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, grief, and loss.

While English is my only language, I am married to a first generation Latino which has allowed me to gain an understanding of the Latino culture. I’ve seen how it can be challenging to maintain one’s own cultural heritage and values while also trying to merge with the dominant culture. My personal experience has shown me how to navigate these differences in relationships while honoring the individual.
