I am a bilingual mental health therapist with 7 years in the practice of mental health.  I have a Masters of Psychology in Counseling Psychology. I am certified as a Mental Health First Aid Trainer. 

Over the years, I have specialized in clients in crisis as well as Anxiety Disorders, Adjustment Disorders and Depression. I have the ability to remain calm in difficult situations and be rational which helps in guiding my clients to balance their emotions with rational and safe decisions. My approach in therapy is person centered, empathetic and considerate of the cultural factors that impact your view of the world. 

I enjoy guiding clients on how to improve their mental health by staying present within their situations while helping them navigate and understand their emotions. I believe an importance piece of the therapeutic alliance is understanding culture and how that plays a role in the life of the clients. Being Latina and Spanish speaking helps me be comprehensive about cultural aspects and how these impact the issues clients bring to therapy.
