About Perla
I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor (English and Spanish) and hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Regis University (2012). I have been in practice for over 15 years; both in Mexico and in the United States. I earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology in 2000 from the Universidad Autonoma de Sinaloa in Mexico.
As a Latina counselor, I have the ability to understand cultural and immigration issues from a first-hand perspective. Providing psychotherapy is one of my passions. I offer individual, couples, family and group therapy, as well support and psychoeducational groups.
I truly believe in empowering people to reach personal goals and to overcome challenging situations. I believe that every person has an inner potential that many times just needs a little polish to sparkle.
