Affordable Mental Health Care at El Consultorio
At El Consultorio, we believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care—regardless of income or insurance status. That’s why we offer a Sliding Fee Discount Program to help reduce the cost of therapy for individuals and families who qualify.
Our program is designed to support clients who are uninsured, underinsured, or facing financial hardship by adjusting the cost of services based on household income and family size.
How it Works:
- Fees are determined using the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
- Discounts range from 20% to 80% off the full fee.
- Clients earning less than 100% of the federal poverty level pay a nominal fee of $20.
- No one will be denied care due to an inability to pay.
Who Can Apply
Anyone receiving services at El Consultorio—insured, underinsured, or uninsured.
- Clients with a household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
What You Need to Apply
- A recent pay stub, last year’s tax return, or a signed income declaration form.
- We re-evaluate eligibility annually or when your financial situation changes.
